This new device called miShare enables you to transfer anything from one iPod to another without using a PC. miShare unit has two iPod dock connectors and you can plug-in your iPods to it.
miShare is powered by Linux and uses open source software tools to read and write to iPods. You can use it to transfer pictures, songs and even videos from one to another. There are also options by which you can transfer whole playing play list from one iPod to another.
miShare can transfer files at a speed of 500KBps, which means an average song of 3MB in size will require only 6-7 seconds.
It is powered by re-chargeable batteries that can be charged with the accompanying AC adapter.
This device will be available in US markets from December 2007 and is expected to be priced around $100.
